Merry Christmas. May the light of humanity and hope shine in every life. OTN Bangla editorial team

Melbourne 25 December 2025: December 25 marks Christmas, the birth of Jesus Christ. In the pages of history, it is not merely the remembrance of a religious event, but the beginning of a profound moral awakening for humanity. The values Jesus taught—love, forgiveness, sacrifice, and responsibility toward one another—remain deeply relevant in every corner of the world today.

Jesus was born into a humble family, not in a palace. He came to stand beside the oppressed, the poor, and the forgotten. His life and teachings remind us that true strength flows from compassion, and real change comes when love and justice guide our actions.

Today’s world is scarred by violence, hatred, war, and division. People are increasingly judged by religion, race, ethnicity, or political belief. Extremism and intolerance are once again shaking the foundations of societies. In such a time, Christmas calls us back to a simple truth: our first identity is not what divides us, but our shared humanity.

Christmas is not only about gifts and bright lights. It is about lighting a candle within our hearts. It is about recognising the suffering of others, standing against injustice, and protecting human dignity wherever it is threatened.

At OTN Bangla, we believe that building a pluralistic, just, and compassionate society is a shared responsibility. This Christmas, we renew that commitment—to stand for love over hatred, truth over falsehood, and justice over injustice.

Merry Christmas.
May the light of humanity and hope shine in every life.
