Jessia Islam crowned miss international Bangladesh 2025

Melbourne 29 September: The Miss International Bangladesh 2025 pageant has come to a close with Jessia Islam earning this year’s crown. The competition began with thousands of applications submitted online from across the country, reflecting the ambitions of young women eager to represent Bangladesh internationally. Through a rigorous selection process, the field was narrowed to the Top 9 contestants, who then participated in intensive grooming sessions, photoshoots, and content development to showcase their personality, skills, and confidence.

From these, three finalists were chosen: Jessia Islam, Sajria Tabassum Proma, and Somaya Harun. After the final round of judging, Jessia Islam was announced as the winner, with Sajria Tabassum Proma securing the position of First Runner-Up and Somaya Harun as Second Runner-Up. The official press conference was attended by a wide range of media representatives, alongside Azra Mahmood, National Director of Miss International Bangladesh and Founder of Azra Mahmood Talent Camp (AMTC), as well as senior representatives from Shokubutsu.

Following the final round, the crown was placed on Jessia Islam’s head, with Sajria Tabassum Proma named First Runner-Up and Somaya Harun as Second Runner-Up. Press Releases

This year’s competition highlighted not only elegance and talent but also a strong commitment to social responsibility and alignment with the United Nations’ Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). Jessia Islam is currently focused on rehabilitating drug-addicted street children, while both Sajria Tabassum Proma and Somaya Harun are actively engaged in community development and social projects. All three finalists expressed their intention to collaborate with NGOs to drive lasting, meaningful change.

Jessia Islam will represent Bangladesh at the Miss International pageant in Tokyo, Japan, on 27 November 2025, where she will compete against participants from across the globe. Miss International Bangladesh continues to serve as a platform that not only celebrates grace and ability but also encourages women to make impactful contributions to society, empower others, and build a brighter future for Bangladesh on the world stage.
