Melbourne to Celebrate the 138th Birth Anniversary of Sree Sree Thakur Anukulchandra

Melbourne, Australia August 17: Satsang Oceania will celebrate the holy 138th birth anniversary of Sree Sree Thakur Anukulchandra at Clayton Hall on Saturday, 22 August 2026.

Organisers are expecting devotees and followers from across Melbourne and interstate to attend the sacred occasion. The gathering will provide an opportunity for participants to honour Sree Sree Thakur Anukulchandra’s life, spiritual teachings and enduring message of love, service and harmony.

Organised with the holy blessings of Param Pujyapad Sree Sree Acharyadev, the event will bring together devotees, families and members of the wider community for an evening devoted to spirituality, music, reflection and fellowship.

Devotees and community members will gather at Clayton Hall on Saturday, 22 August 2026, for an evening of devotional music, spiritual congregation and fellowship.

The celebration will begin at 4:00 pm with Sangeetanjali, featuring devotional music and cultural performances. Through music and artistic presentations, participants will pay tribute to the life, teachings and spiritual legacy of Sree Sree Thakur Anukulchandra.

At 5:30 pm, the Satsang Adhiveshan, or main congregation, will commence. The session is expected to focus on Sree Sree Thakur’s message of love, service, compassion, harmony and spiritual development.

A free vegetarian dinner, known as Bhandaara, will be served to all attendees following the conclusion of the programme. The communal meal will reflect the spirit of equality, service and togetherness at the heart of the celebration.

Sree Sree Thakur Anukulchandra’s teachings emphasised respect for humanity, peaceful coexistence and the essential unity of spiritual traditions. One of his widely shared messages states:

“God is one, Dharma is one, Prophets are the same, Servers of the One.”

Another teaching encourages people to treat others with the same kindness and consideration they hope to receive:

“Try to give others as you desire to have. To proceed with this understanding much is enough. Everyone will like you and love you spontaneously.”

These principles continue to inspire his followers across India, Australia and many other parts of the world. The Melbourne celebration will provide an opportunity for devotees to reconnect with those teachings while strengthening spiritual and community bonds.
