Melbourne, August 12: Fast Settle Conveyancing and Property Law has marked a significant professional milestone after its principal, Mohammed Sheikh, received the Men in Property Award 2026 from the Australian Institute of Conveyancers Victoria.

The award recognises professional excellence, leadership, integrity and meaningful contributions to the conveyancing and broader property sector. Mr Sheikh accepted the honour on behalf of Fast Settle, describing it as a collective achievement reflecting the dedication of his team and the trust of the firm’s clients and professional partners.

“Receiving the Men in Property Award 2026 is an extraordinary honour,” Mr Sheikh said.

“I accepted this award with great pride on behalf of Fast Settle. Every member of our team has contributed to this achievement through their dedication, hard work and commitment to delivering a consistently high standard of service. This recognition belongs to our entire Fast Settle family.”

Mr Sheikh said the award represented more than an individual accomplishment, describing it as recognition of the principles on which Fast Settle was established—including professionalism, accountability, technical excellence, ethical practice and a commitment to supporting clients through significant financial and personal transactions.

Fast Settle provides conveyancing and property-related services across Victoria, New South Wales and South Australia. Its services include residential and commercial conveyancing, off-the-plan purchases, related-party transfers and assistance with complex property matters.

Under Mr Sheikh’s leadership, the firm has developed an approach focused on clear communication, careful risk management and practical guidance. Fast Settle acknowledges that property transactions often involve substantial legal, financial and emotional considerations and aims to ensure clients remain informed and supported throughout the process.

“Our clients place considerable trust in us when they ask Fast Settle to manage their property transactions. We never take that responsibility for granted,” Mr Sheikh said.

“Every client deserves to feel informed, protected and supported throughout the conveyancing process.”

He also acknowledged the contribution of the firm’s referral partners, including mortgage brokers, real estate professionals, buyer advocates, financial advisers and other property industry colleagues.

“Their continued confidence in Fast Settle has played an important role in the growth of our business,” he said.

“Every referral represents professional trust, and we remain committed to honouring that trust through the quality of our work.”

The recognition comes as conveyancing practitioners face an increasingly complex professional environment shaped by evolving legislation, electronic settlement systems, cybersecurity risks, regulatory requirements and rising client expectations.

Fast Settle said it had responded to these developments by maintaining contemporary systems, investing in professional development and ensuring its team remained informed about legislative and industry changes. Its objective, the firm said, was not merely to complete transactions but to provide clients with clarity, confidence and dependable professional support.

Mr Sheikh also paid tribute to his family, whose encouragement had supported him throughout the challenges of building and leading a business.

“No meaningful achievement is accomplished alone,” he said.

“I am deeply grateful to my family for believing in me, standing beside me and supporting me through every challenge and opportunity. Their encouragement has given me the strength to continue pursuing excellence.”

Community engagement has also remained part of Fast Settle’s identity. Mr Sheikh said professional success carried a responsibility to contribute positively beyond the workplace and to build meaningful relationships with clients, business partners and community organisations.

Although the Men in Property Award 2026 represents an important milestone, Mr Sheikh said he viewed the recognition as motivation to continue improving rather than the completion of the firm’s journey.

“This award strengthens our determination to continue improving,” he said. “It is a reminder that professional recognition carries an ongoing responsibility to uphold high standards, support our clients and contribute constructively to the conveyancing and property industry.”

“The Fast Settle team remains focused on the future. We will continue investing in our people, strengthening our professional capabilities and providing reliable, ethical and client-centred conveyancing services.”

Mr Sheikh dedicated the achievement to everyone who had contributed to Fast Settle’s progress.

“This award belongs to everyone who has believed in Fast Settle and contributed to our journey,” he said.

“To our team, clients, referral partners, family and community—thank you. Your trust and support have made this milestone possible, and we look forward to continuing the journey together.”
