Darwin Ready to Celebrate the 138th Holy Birth Anniversary of Sree Sree Thakur Anukulchandra

MELBOURNE, July 24: The city of Darwin in Australia’s Northern Territory is all set to celebrate the 138th Holy Birth Anniversary of Sree Sree Thakur Anukulchandra with a day-long program of spiritual, cultural and community activities on Saturday, July 25. Organized by Satsang Oceania, the celebration will take place at Gray Community Hall, Gray, NT, bringing together devotees and followers from across Australia.

The celebrations will begin at 6:40 a.m. with the traditional Usha (Morning) Kirtan, followed by the Morning Prayer and Congregation. A ceremonial procession is scheduled for 10:30 a.m., reflecting the spirit of devotion and unity among participants.

The afternoon program will include a Children and Youth Satsang, a Mother’s Conference (Matrisammelan), and Sangeetanjali, a devotional music and cultural performance showcasing spiritual songs and cultural presentations. In the evening, the Ceremonial Lamp Lighting will precede the Main Satsang Congregation, one of the highlights of the day’s observance.

Organizers say the event aims to promote the timeless teachings of Sree Sree Thakur Anukulchandra, whose philosophy emphasizes love, self-discipline, humanity, and spiritual growth. They hope the celebration will strengthen the bonds among devotees while introducing younger generations to his values and teachings.

A complimentary vegetarian dinner (Bhandara) will be served at the conclusion of the program. For those unable to attend in person, the entire event will be streamed live through Satsang Oceania’s official YouTube channel, allowing devotees around the world to participate virtually.

With participants expected from different Australian states, the celebration is anticipated to be a significant gathering of the Satsang community in Oceania.
